STEPS IN BUYING A HOME
Get Pre-Qualified
Getting pre-qualified is one of the most important steps you can take before buying a home. It allows you to determine the loan amount you qualify for, enabling you to identify the appropriate price range for a home. By doing so, you can avoid wasting time looking at houses, only to discover later that the lender won't approve the amount you need.
FIND AN AGENT
With your pre-qualification in place and a clear understanding of your affordability range, the next step is to secure a real estate agent. Our journey begins with an initial meeting, during which I'll provide you with a comprehensive overview of the home buying process. If you choose to move forward with me as your agent, we'll formalize our partnership by signing a buyer representation agreement, and we'll immediately start searching for homes that align with your preferences and needs.
OFFER, CONTRACT, CLOSE
Once you find a house you're interested in that's available for sale, I will conduct a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to determine the most strategic offer to make. If the seller accepts our offer, we will enter into a contract with them and initiate all the necessary legal and financial procedures. This is where having an agent becomes invaluable, as I excel in explaining each section of the contract, including the 38 potential contingencies you can utilize if desired.
As we approach the closing date, I will ensure that all matters are thoroughly reviewed and cleared by the title company and all other involved parties. Once everything is in order, you will receive the keys and can officially move into your new home!
